33 Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas

I'm not a fan of the backpack day. I prefer to carry my lunch in a tote bag, or maybe even a picnic basket. But sometimes you just need something big and sturdy, that's when I reach for my backpack. There are plenty of ways to make your backpacks more fun.

What is anything but a backpack day?

Backpack Day is a special event organized by many schools, colleges and universities. In this day students  use to bring funny backpacks to make the day funny and enjoyable. You can make this a family activity, a fun way to spend time with friends and family. If you have kids, they will love the idea of being able to use something other than a backpack.

You can also do this with your spouse or significant other if you’re into that kind of thing.

Now Here I'm mentioning 33 backpack day ideas that might be helpful for your backpack day.

1. Tote bag Bagpack

A tote bag is a great way to carry your stuff. You can use it for shopping, or just have it by the door in case you need something quickly. Some people like to use their purses as lunchboxes. I know I do. It’s also nice if you want something that looks nicer than a backpack but isn't as formal as an actual purse (like me).

2. Lunchbox

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

Lunchboxes are a great idea for lunch on the go. They can be used for other things, like holding your phone or keys when you're out walking around downtown.

The best part about this idea is that it's so easy to use! All you have to do is place your food in the container and seal it up before heading out the door, no need for additional containers or bags of any kind.

3. Plastic pumpkin full of supplies

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

Have you ever wondered why people use a plastic pumpkin to hold their supplies? It's simple: it keeps things organized, and that's what this blog is all about.

To fill your pumpkin with supplies, start by finding a small container that will fit inside of it. You can also use an empty soda bottle or juice box if you don't want to buy another item of similar size.

Once you've found something suitable for use as a pencil holder (or whatever else), simply fill up both sides with pens and stickers from around the house, and then use them. They'll keep everything in one place so there's less hassle when it comes time for class tomorrow morning or any other time during school days.

4. Tool box on wheels

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

A perfect Backpack day idea to have this toolbox to store items and carrying it to the event hy holding this.

A tool box on wheels is a great way to transport your tools and supplies. It's also a great option if you need to move the toolbox around quickly, such as when you're working on an outdoor project.

A toolbox on wheels makes it easy for anyone with mobility issues or who simply wants more freedom of movement in their home or office space. This type of device has been around for years and can be purchased at most hardware stores or online retailers like Amazon.

5. Fill a sock with pens, stickers, and other small items.

Fill sock with your essential items like pencil and attach some holder with it hold and carry anywhere.

6. Use an umbrella as Backpack

You can use a pair of scissors to cut the bottom off an umbrella. Then, you can use the handle to hold pens and pencils. This is especially useful if you are tired of having your backpack fall open or if you have a hard time keeping things secure in your bag.

7. Cardboard box

There are a lot of different options for you to use instead of a backpack. A cardboard box is one of the best ways to go because it’s cheap, easy to find and very versatile. You can also use it as a storage container or even as part of your lunchbox

8. Beach Tote

Beach tote is a large bag with a long strap. It can be used for carrying beach items or other items. The beach tote has been around since the 1960s, but it's still popular today because it's versatile and easy to carry. Beach totes often come in bright colours, so they're great if you want something fun while you're out on vacation!

Beach totes are often made from canvas or nylon materials because these fabrics are durable as well as lightweight enough that they don't weigh down your shoulders when carrying them around all day long (especially during hot weather). They also make good gifts because friends always love getting new things for themselves and if everyone else gets one too then everyone will have one at home too.

9. Picnic basket

Picnic baskets are a great way to carry supplies, but they can also be used for other things. You could use them as a gym bag or even as an overnight bag! They're lightweight and easy to clean, so that makes them perfect for carrying around all day long.

10. Radio flyer red wagon

Its the most comfortable backpack for your backpack day. I know, it's a red wagon. But the Radio Flyer red wagon is the perfect way to take your lunch or snacks on a hike. It can hold a variety of things and has an easy-to-use handle for carrying. Plus, it's just really fun!

This is one of my favourite ways to spend time outdoors when I'm not playing sports or working out and what better way than with friends? You could even use one as an accessory for your child's party if they're having backyard picnics or birthday parties at home or any backpack day events.

11. Football helmet

A football helmet is a piece of protective equipment used to protect the head from injuries during play in American but we can use this as backpack on Backpack day.

12. Garbage pail

Let's face it, you're not going to be taking a backpack with you on a regular basis, so why not make use of the space that's already there in your car or home? If you have an old plastic garbage pail sitting around in the garage or basement and it's only used occasionally by yourself and one other person (like me), then go ahead and make use of it! Simply place some small items into the top compartment and take off for wherever and when you want to go.

13. An old-fashioned doctor’s satchel

An old-fashioned doctor’s satchel is a great way to carry your supplies. It can be used like a backpack and will hold everything you need for the day. In addition to pens and pencils, you can also use an umbrella for holding pens and pencils when it’s raining (or other weather related).

14. An empty guitar case

  • Use an empty guitar case for a pencil case.
  • Use an empty guitar case for a purse.
  • Use an empty guitar case for a lunchbox, or any other container you can fit in it! (I'm thinking about getting one of these, because they're so cute.)
  • An empty guitar case makes a decent toolbox too. I've got some old electronics around here somewhere that could easily be converted into one...

15. Portfolio Bucket

A portfolio bucket is a small, portable container that you can take with you to interviews and meetings. It's usually made of plastic or metal. You can carry it by hand, or attach it to a wheeled cart if needed.

Portfolios come in all shapes and sizes, but most have one thing in common: they're designed to hold your work in one compact space so that it's easy for people to glance at what's inside without having to rummage through folders or open large binders full of papers.

16. Cupcake holder/cupcake pan/muffin tin

A cupcake holder is a small, round pan that you can use for baking cupcakes. It's made of silicone and has four small holes so that the cakes can rise evenly. You'll also want to get one if you plan on making muffins or biscuits from scratch because those require something similar to hold them in place while they bake.

17. A doll’s carrier/stroller/playpen

Here are some options:

  • Baby's stroller is the right thing to use as backpack on backpack day doll’s. You can use a backpack with a strap that can be used as a handle, or you could take advantage of the fact that it has wheels and make sure to lock them in place when not in use. If you have an old laundry basket with handles, this would work well too! Or if your toddler already loves carrying around his favourite toy in a cardboard box (and if he doesn’t then maybe he should find another toy), then why not just put that same thing inside? The best part is that there are so many different ways to do this activity; it doesn't matter what kind of container your kid wants to carry around because once they get into the game they won't mind at all.

18. Altoids tin

An empty Altoids tin makes a great pencil holder and backpack day idea. It's small, easy to carry and has a lid that snaps on easily when you need it.

If you don't have an Altoids tin, grab one from the dollar store. They're fairly inexpensive and come in lots of different colors and sizes.

If your backpack is large enough, use the Altoids tin as a pill box; this will keep your medications organized while also protecting them from being lost or broken by accident (even if they are). Just put anything that needs medicine inside before closing up the lid again! You can even use it as an emergency kit during long hikes where there's no access to bathrooms nearby, just make sure not to fill up too much space inside because once again: space is limited here kids.

19. Overnight Bag For Backpack Day

If you want to be environmentally friendly, make your own overnight bag.

You can use old pillowcases and leftover fabric scraps for this project.

Make sure you have enough space in the pillowcase for your entire body, including head. You don't want to get cramped during the night so make sure there's room for air circulation while sleeping.

20. Pillowcase Backpack Day Idea

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

A pillowcase is a great way to hold small items. You can use it in your backpack and keep things safe from getting lost or damaged by other things that might be inside of your bag. To get started, fill up the case with pencils, markers and crayons so they don't roll around too much. Then use it as a blanket for when you're sitting on the floor at school or work (or even just out on the couch).

21. Toilet paper roll or a tissue box For Backpack Day Idea

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

  • You can use a toilet paper roll to store your makeup.
  • A tissue box is also great for storing other small items, like hair ties or earrings.

22. Helmet or hat Backpack Day Idea

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

If you're looking for a way to get around without carrying your backpack, Helmet or Hat is an excellent option. It's more comfortable than a backpack and better for your posture. It can be used as a bag, or as an alternative to a purse. Helmets are also great for keeping hair out of your face when riding in traffic on the sidewalk and they look awesome too.

23. Stuffed animal backpacK

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

If you're looking for a fun activity, try stuffing one of your stuffed animals with some pillows. You'll have to make sure that it's a pillow that fits inside the animal and not too big, or else it'll be hard to stuff in there. Once that's done, wrap up the whole thing and put it on your back.

If you don't want to do this on your own (or if you need help), head over to Amazon where they sell everything from blankets to pillows in case anyone wants one too.

24. Clutch purse/wallet

If you're looking for a way to carry your wallet and keys, but don't want to lug around a bulky bag, then the clutch purse or wallet is right up your alley. This small piece of hardware can be used as an alternative to carrying your traditional pocketbook full of stuff.

Clutches are often used by celebrities and fashionistas because they're small enough to fit in any purse or handbag and still look fashionable (and not like an animal). They also make great gifts!

25. Doggie poo bag holder

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

You can take it as a fun for your backpack day.
If you have a dog, then you know that pooping is inevitable. And if you're anything like us, then there will be the occasional moments when we forget to put our dog's poop into their corresponding bag.

So what do we do? We use a doggie poo bag holder! This little guy makes it so much easier to grab the right one at just the right time and place them back in their spot with ease. Not only does this save me time but also prevents my fingers from getting dirty or wet.

26. Small trash can with lid

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

  • A small trash can is a great way to pack light and save space and to use on backpack day event.
  • You can use it for other things, too!

27. Garden wagon

33 Hilarious Anything But A Backpack Day Ideas 2022

Have you ever been in the mood for a garden wagon? I have, and I know you have too. It's one of my favorite things to use when I'm getting ready to plant something new in the yard or just going on an adventure with friends.

Gardening wagons are great because they can be used for multiple purposes, you can use it to carry supplies, but also as a cart if your kids want to ride around together while they're playing outside. They're lightweight and easy to roll around so that even though they're made out of plastic materials (which means cleanup is easier), there's no need for any heavy lifting.

28. Cooler Backpack

A great backpack idea to take sone cooling stuff on your backpack day by using it as backpack. If you're looking to bring a cooler, look no further than your own kitchen. A large bowl can be filled with ice and water, then frozen overnight. It's easy to carry this around all day long in a bag or backpack for cold drinks on hot days. You can also use an old-fashioned doctor's satchel as a corrugated tub that will keep your food fresh longer than cardboard boxes do.

If you want something more portable but still stylish, go with a trolley bin on wheels with handles, they're perfect for holding snacks or spending money when out shopping at the mall or having lunch at home (and won't set off metal detectors). They're also great because they don't take up much space yet can hold everything from novels to sandwiches.

29. Suitcase Backpack

You can keep your suitcase on wheels and use it as a backpack when you need to. It's easy to carry, store and clean up after. This makes it great for traveling as well as everyday use. And if you're taking a flight somewhere, then the suitcase will make packing even easier than usual.

30. Purse (backpack sized) or a purse backpack

If you want to go with a purse backpack, consider:

  • This purse is another option for carrying around all those things we don't know where else they belong. You could use purse to put small items and to take with you on backpack day - this saves space for more important items like cash/wallet etc... The best part about this type of purses? They're usually very small so won't take up much room.

31. Lastic crate/bin on wheels with a handle

  • Check out your local thrift store for a large plastic bin.
  • Attach wheels to the bottom of the bin and attach handles to both sides.
  • Add a lid if you want one, but it's not necessary.

32. Diaper Bagpack

This could be a great idea for your backpack day. A diaper bag is a must-have for any mom, but it's an even more essential item if you're carrying your baby around. Diaper bags can be worn as a backpack or carried like a tote and there are many styles and options out there. The best part about this type of bag? It's always in style! If your little ones are growing up fast, don't worry: You'll still be able to use the same bag.

There are tons of different types of diaper bags available today including cross-body bags that have convenient pockets for holding wipes or sippy cups; totes with large compartments perfect for storing gear like sunscreen; backpacks with multiple pockets where everything can easily fit inside without taking up too much space on your shoulders; and even messenger bags designed specifically for dads who want their own stylish accessory that's not only practical yet fashionable too.

33. Dog Bed Basket
