Sunday Night
Sunday night is the perfect time to cleanse your skin. If you don't have any products that can be used as a cleanser, use water and a gentle face scrub.
After cleansing, pat dry with a towel or linen cloth. You will want to apply a toner after washing your face, this helps lock in hydration and keep blemishes at bay while moisturizing at the same time.
Apply it with cotton pads or sponges, it's best if they're soft ones so they don't scratch your face too much during application.
Now that we've done all of this work on our faces (and bodies).
How about some more stuff?
Let’s take care of some other areas i.e feet/toes/hands/arms etcetera…
Monday Night
- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, then remove any remaining residue by patting it dry with a soft towel.
- Apply moisturizer to clean skin and let it absorb into the pores. You can use an oil or cream here if you'd like! We recommend using something light-weight because it's important not to overdo it on dry winter weather days (and we all know how hard they can be).
- Use a face mask! You might want to pick one up at your local drugstore, they're not expensive at all and will give you some extra glow when used together with this ritual.
Tuesday Night
- Use a face mask. This is the most important step of this routine, and it's also one that many people take for granted. You should use a moisturizer after your shower and before bed every night (it will keep your skin from drying out). If you want to amp up the benefits of masks, try using one with charcoal as an ingredient.
- Use a face scrub. Scrubbing helps remove dead skin cells, which can clog pores and lead to breakouts if not removed regularly. Using something like this will help prevent this from happening and who doesn't want clear skin anyway?
- Use toner after washing off all traces of makeup if necessary (if there was any left over). Toner will help balance oil production in the skin while also cleansing away dirt particles left behind by cleansers or scrubs, this process also helps improve blood circulation so that dead cells aren't trapped inside pores anymore.
Wednesday Night
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser, then use a toner to remove any remaining dirt and oil. Use a mask to exfoliate the skin, and apply moisturizer to keep it hydrated throughout the rest of the week.
Thursday Night.
If You're still a little tired from the weekend, and you're looking to boost your skin's health in a way that won't take up too much space in your schedule.
You have three options:
1) Treat yourself to some face masks!
2) Drink more water!
3) Go on a walk outside, maybe even in the moonlight if it's out tonight!
If you choose option #1, go ahead and do whatever moisturizing mask feels good on your face at this moment.
You can use any kind of oil-based or clay-based product as long as it doesn't contain alcohol. If you want something stronger than that but less messy than using toothpaste or Vaseline (or even plain old olive oil).
Try putting milk into an empty plastic container so that its pH level stays neutral throughout all stages of application; then add some honey or another natural sweetener until there are no signs left behind once finished eating/drinking/gluing anything else onto ourselves before bedtime comes around again tomorrow morning.
Friday Night
Friday night is the night to exfoliate your skin.
You should use a gentle exfoliant (a small brush or soft cloth) on your face, preferably one with natural ingredients like oats or sugar.
Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells and dirt from your pores, which is why it's important to do this at least once a week if not more often depending on how dirty you are, the more you scrub away at it, the better.
You should also use moisturizer afterward because wetness can cause irritation if it gets trapped in those same pores all day long.
Saturday Night
- Use a scrub to remove dead skin cells. This will help you get rid of any remaining impurities and make your face look fresh and clean.
- Apply toner to refresh the surface of your skin, especially if it has been exposed to pollution or harsh weather conditions.
- Apply a face mask to hydrate your skin even further.
"Skin cycling" is the way to have flawless skin because it gives your skin a regular routine that will help keep it clear"
If you're new to cycling, start by washing your face in the morning and evening with a gentle cleanser. If you have oily or combination skin, try using an exfoliating scrub once or twice a week; this helps remove dead cells and dirt buildup.
Conclusion
The next time you’re getting ready for a big night out or just need a little pick-me-up, try “skin cycling.” It’s a fun way to get your skin looking its best while feeling soft and refreshed.
